• Permethrin, a molecule of the family of synthetic pyrethroids, is characterized by its insecticidal activity and mite; acting by contact, the molecule blocks the transmission of nerve impulses. These effects are attributed to changes in axonal membrane permeability to Na + and K +.
• The pyriproxyfen is an inhibitor of insect growth that has the ability to mimic juvenile hormone. The molecule inhibits the emergence of adult insects by blocking the biological development of eggs and larvae, which are thus eliminated.

Use

Conditions to parasites sensitive to permethrin and pyriproxyfen.
In dogs less than 7.5 kg:

• Elimination of fleas.
• Prevention of flea infestation for 4 weeks and limitation of infestation by inhibiting the development to adulthood for 8 weeks.
• Prevention of tick infestation for 4 weeks.

200 mg of permethrin and pyriproxyfen 1.6 mg per kg bodyweight.

Weight of Dog 0 to 7.5 kg : 1 pipette

Pour the contents of the tube along the line of back injury by taking care to remain in contact with the skin.

The effectiveness of specialty may be reduced if the animal is wetted or shampooed immediately after applying the product.
Avoid contact of product directly or indirectly with the leather, carpets and delicate fabrics - is likely to fade due to the solvent. Avoid the animal licks after applying the product.

Cons indications

Do not use on cats. In the absence of available data, do not use in puppies under 2 months or in puppies weighing less than 2 kg. The administration of specialty animals sick, convalescing or with extensive skin lesions is not recommended.

Adverse Effects

Rare cases of rash, pruritus, salivation, vomiting were observed in treated animals. These signs have surrendered voluntarily.
When applying the product on a wet coat, a whitish coat transitional, application site can be observed.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

Studies in laboratory animals (rat, mouse, rabbit) have not shown any embryotoxic or teratogenic effects of permethrin and pyriproxyfen. The safety of the specialty in bitches in gestation and lactation has not been studied. The use of specialty females pregnant or breastfeeding is not recommended.

Overdose

The specialty is well tolerated in dogs up to 5 times the recommended dosage. However, if signs of intolerance manifested (hyperesthesia, ataxia, intense erythema, prolonged tremors), shampooing the dog thoroughly to remove the product.

Precautions to be taken by the person administering the product to animals

The household gloves are recommended during the administration.
Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water.
Keep away from food and beverages.

Special precautions for the disposal of unused product or waste

The product is toxic to fish and aquatic organisms.
The empty packaging and any remaining product should be disposed of following the practices governed by regulations on waste.
