Nattokinase and Cardiovascular Health
Throughout life, the cardiovascular system is put to the test. Many risk factors (age, overweight, obesity, hypertension, smoking, stress and physical inactivity) are involved in the development of cardiovascular diseases (atherosclerosis, hypertension, coagulation disorders, heart attack, stroke, etc.). According to the WHO, cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of death in the world and reach 31%.
Renowned for its many benefits on the cardiovascular system (heart and arteries), natto is a fermented soy food, traditionally consumed in Japan for more than 1,000 years. Natto contains an enzyme, nattokinase, whose many benefits have been demonstrated by scientific studies.
Nattokinase is a fibrinolytic enzyme capable of degrading fibrin. Fibrin is a protein involved in coagulation, and more particularly in the formation of blood clots.
Normally, fibrin clots are needed to stop bleeding from injuries. In cardiovascular diseases, blood clotting is impaired and accelerates, which then causes the inappropriate formation of clots. These clog the arteries and slow down blood circulation, which is essential for tissue oxygenation. Thanks to its fibrinolytic action, nattokinase thus participates in supporting optimal blood coagulation in the context of cardiovascular prevention.
For optimal effectiveness, our nattokinase Nattiase®, titrated at 2,000 FU*, is associated with 100% of the reference intakes of vitamin B1, known to promote good heart function.

Why choose nattokinase from THERASCIENCE Laboratory?
Our nattokinase Nattiase® is derived from extract of soybeans fermented by the bacterium Bacillus subtilis var. nato.
Naturally, nattokinase is produced by this bacterium during the fermentation and breakdown of soy protein. The production of our nattokinase thus closely respects the natto manufacturing process and makes it possible to obtain the most natural nattokinase possible.
The physico-chemical culture conditions of Bacillus subtilis var. natto (pH, temperature, composition of the bacterial culture medium, amount of soy added, etc.) have been previously determined in order to optimize the production of a nattokinase at maximum efficiency. The fermented soy extract obtained, titrated to 2,000 FU* of nattokinase, is then purified using a filtration and centrifugation step.
In addition, natto and fermented soy extracts are rich in vitamin K2. This vitamin can promote coagulation and therefore oppose the action of nattokinase. In order to maximize the effectiveness of this enzyme and to avoid any interference with vitamin K2, our nattokinase Nattiase® is guaranteed vitamin K2-free thanks to an ultrafiltration process to eliminate its presence.
For optimum quality, Nattiase® undergoes regular quality control tests to ensure the absence of microbiological contaminants and heavy metals. Our High Quality Process® further certifies the origin of selected plant extracts present in PHYSIOMANCE Nattokinase.
To benefit from all the benefits of Nattiase® nattokinase, PHYSIOMANCE Nattokinase is guaranteed GMO-free, nanoparticle-free, preservative-free, gluten- and lactose-free thanks to our THERASCIENCE Clean label.
