- This necklace contains two pest insecticides and acaricides to the modes of action.
- The flumethrin is a cyano-pyrethroid photostable. It blocks the conduction of nerve impulses by acting on sodium channels.
- Propoxur is a carbamate which inhibits cholinesterases at neuromuscular junctions and synapses.
- The association of two molecules can increase the persistence of activity up to 7 months against ticks - against 2 to 3 months for flumethrin or propoxur alone. Ticks are removed within 24 hours.
Indication
In dogs, the conditions to be susceptible to parasites and propoxur flumethrin: elimination of ticks and fleas. The duration of protection against reinfestation is 7 months. Necklace for external use.
- Dogs 3 to 8 kg KILTIX ® Small Dog.
- Dogs 9 to 19 kg: KILTIX ® Dog Medium.
- Dogs 20 kg and more: Grand KILTIX ® Dog.
Do not use in dogs with extensive skin lesions, in sick or convalescing dogs.
Slight itching can be observed in the first few days after installing the collar.
Precautions
Remove the collar if the dog is bathed or washed and put it where the hair is dry. The use in dogs in gestation or lactation is possible. Wash hands after application. Store away from food and beverages. Do not let children play with the collar.
